Logan Square

Ms. Madi, Director

Hello All! I'd like to introduce myself as Ms. Madi, your Director for Children's Learning Place - Logan Square. I came to CLP with a Masters in Child Development from Erikson Institute. I have vast experience in various Early Childhood settings in which I partook during my years of school and working in different school settings. To name a few, I have been a supervisor at a JCC day camp, worked with childrens with special needs, taught in a CPS preschool and 1st grade classroom, and held a teaching role in a few different early learning centers. Each experience up to this point has given me multiple opportunities to learn and grow from some of the most amazing and diverse children and families. I love reading, being crafty, as well as handy, cleaning and organizing, and making people laugh. I am a fun-loving, family-oriented, cheery individual that has always had a passion and talent for working with children. I look forward to getting to know each family that attends CLP. It is my hope that you feel supported and empowered to promote a healthy development for your child, as their best interest is one of my own.

Please feel free to stop by and ask me questions, address concerns or just to say Hi!

Ms. Erica, Assistant Director

Hello CLP families! My name is Ms. Erica and I am the Assistant Director for CLP Logan Square.  I have been working with children since 2006, ranging from birth to fourteen years of age.  I earned an degree in early childhood and a Child Care Administration & Management Certification.

My favorite part about my position is that I get to build a relationship with all the children, staff and families in the center.  I also enjoy being a staff motivator and guide.

Outside of working at Children's Learning Place, I love spending time with my husband and three children watching movies, reading books, and taking frequent trips to Chicago's many parks.

I look forward to working with you and your family.

Ms. Brittni, Assistant Director

Hi, Everyone. I began working at Children's Learning Place in 2013.  I have degrees in Justice and Sociology with studies in Early Childhood Education. I began working with children in 2007, but soon after, realized the impact I can make on society by aiding the growth and development of children.  The opportunity to influence a child's life, shape who they are becoming, and help make a difference with their families is deeply rewarding.  Before joining the leadership ranks of CLP, I taught a variety of age groups to include a variety of Preschool classrooms and Pre-Kindergarten.

On a personal note, I am from a small town in Arkansas, I love to eat friend okra and I have two dogs; Mya & Marley.  I am blessed to have an amazing family and fabulous friends.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my nieces and nephews, traveling, reading, and watching sports.

I look forward to meeting and caring for your little ones.
