Hello! From a young age, I’ve been driven by a deep desire to support, understand, and uplift others. My passion for working with children began in high school, when I served as a Children’s Advocate at a women’s shelter—a role that opened my eyes to the power of compassion and the difference understanding can make in a child’s life. After earning my degree, I returned to Alaska, where I spent several years as a Lead Head Start Teacher and later as a Teacher Mentor, helping educators grow and succeed while championing the needs of families and children in my community. I believe that true leadership starts with listening and seeking to understand. It’s through empathy and collaboration that we create lasting solutions—for our students, our families, our teachers, and the communities we serve. My goal is to be part of that process: to ensure that every child has the support, guidance, and encouragement they need to not only grow, but to become the very best version of themselves. I’m honored to join the CLP family and look forward to learning from this incredible team, sharing my experiences, and working together to build environments where children, educators, and families all thrive. I look forward to meeting and caring for your little ones and family. |

My name is Ms. Nina. I am excited to be the Co-Director for Children's Learning Place - Logan Square. Prior to coming to Logan Square, I was an assistant and lead teacher at our Bucktown school. From there, I was the Assistant Director for our Downtown school. I am a huge supporter of taking advantage of the community resources that Chicago has to offer. In addition to working with families of CLP, in my free time I also like to perform comedy and perform in a few family-friendly shows throughout Chicago. I look forward to working with all of our families and I hope to become a trusted resource for all of your early childhood education needs. |

Hello, I’m Ms. Megan. As my passion for education and community grew, I was inspired to step into leadership—to make a broader impact and to be a stronger advocate for our students, families, teachers, and the community we serve. I believe that early childhood education is where lifelong learning begins, and it’s a privilege to help build those foundations with intention, care, and heart. Every day, I strive to be a learner first—listening, growing, and evolving alongside my team and our families. Leadership, to me, means creating a space where everyone feels seen, supported, and connected. It means ensuring that every child feels safe to explore, every teacher feels valued, and every family feels welcomed as part of our CLP community. I am deeply grateful for the early childhood mentors who have helped shape my journey—Ms. Madi and Ms. Brittni, who modeled the art of compassionate leadership, and especially Ms. Alicia and Mr. Norm, whose guidance, trust, and example have inspired me to grow with confidence and purpose while never losing focus on the power of believing in others. I look forward to continuing to learn, lead, and grow alongside each of you. Together, we’ll keep building a place where children thrive, teachers flourish, and families feel at home. |
